Gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has once again found himself at the center of controversy as his second marriage ends in less than two years.
After divorcing his first wife Alice Nnenna Nwokocha in 2023, Nwokocha remarried Goodness Nwokocha just a month later. However, their union was short-lived, and by May 2024, the marriage had officially collapsed with Goodness’s family returning the bride price—a traditional sign that the marriage was over.
In a viral video, Nwokocha defended his decision to separate from Goodness, alleging that she had been caught sending explicit photos to other men. Addressing his critics, he boldly stated:
“I married a wife, not a wh**. I owe no one an apology for this. He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches.”
He went on to declare that he will not tolerate betrayal in any marriage, regardless of how long it lasts:
“If I marry today and find out that my wife is doing evil, she’s leaving my house.”
His comments have sparked mixed reactions online—some supporting his firm stance on morality, while others question his ability to sustain a lasting marriage.
